Press Release (Mostly UNEDITED): LAS VEGAS – Audiomobile is pleased to announce the initial deliveries of their latest ‘Solopass’ compact subwoofer systems. The all-new ‘SPEED’ (Stealth Perfect Engineered Enclosure Design) series, represents a unique set of attractive solutions, tailored to meet the needs of upscale specialty retailers, and their clients.
Audiomobile has been in the business of delivering small form-factor subwoofer enclosures for over 7 years, and these new models represent the recent pivot, to focus on high-performance, “Drop-In” – or ‘Stealth’ subwoofer solutions, for popular truck and SUV platforms. These premium enclosures feature premium materials, construction and design, and are manufactured in California, using advanced CAD and CNC production, to meet Audiomobiles’ exacting standards.
Matt Overpeck, EVP of Audiomobile commented, “We have learned a great deal over the past several years, regarding the key factors in producing upscale subwoofer enclosures, but it took some time to develop the optimal, synergistic blend of relevant designs, that serve to incorporate the latest manufacturing technologies.”

Unlike the typical 5/8” PRC type material, SPEED enclosures, and ALL ‘SoloPass’ enclosures, exclusively use premium, ¾” USA MDF, while the front baffle features a composite, dual-layer (1.5”), to ensure maximum rigidity and ‘flush-mount’ the drivers, for superior cosmetic appeal. This unique feature also allows models, to be easily ‘inverted,’ for “Down-fire” applications, using the optional, ‘Iso-feet’ kit. This feature also effectively ‘floats’ the enclosure, which is especially useful in trunk and cargo / boot applications, where clients do not wish to compromise the utility of their limited storage space.
Key ‘SPEED’ Enclosure features include —
Premium ¾” USA MDF panels, featuring double front baffles, for extreme rigidity, plus flush-mounted drivers
Each model is cross-braced and features ‘Dado’ joint construction and premium adhesives, to insure air-tight seal
‘Open-system’ architecture, allows Dealers to customize systems for Impedance, price point or power-handling
Premium, plush black carpet, or spray-on ‘bedliner’ coating, depending on specific vehicle / form-factor needs
All models feature Gold-plated, 8-gauge, 5-way binding terminals, to accept ‘Banana Plug’ for secure connections
The first model, compact 10” wedge (SSTT 255.1), designed for Toyota Tacoma (2016+) and Tundra trucks, is now shipping, and will be followed this quarter for F-150, Silverado/Sierra, Bronco, Macan, and Tesla Model 3, plus other popular platforms. SPEED enclosures start at $295.00 MSRP.
