KICKER is shipping today its first drop-in, three-way premium component systems with in-line crossovers.
The systems come with either 6.5-inch or 6 x 9-inch woofers, tweeters with neodymium magnets and 2 and 3/4-quarter-inch midrange drivers.
“We haven’t done a three-way component of this nature ever. In the past, you could make a KICKER three-way but it wasn’t sold as a package and needed a separate crossover. Now you can buy this one box and it has everything you need to make it work in your given vehicle,” said KICKER Global Training Manager Aaron Malin.
The systems come with adapters to fit select vehicles from GM, Ford, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and select imports, using those vehicles’ factory holes and mounting points.
Suggested retail pricing is $379.99 for the KSS365 6.5-inch model and $429.99 for the KSS369 6 x 9-inch.
