mObridge, known for its digital signal processors (DSPs) and Morel, maker of high end audio, have partnered to create vehicle-specific audio upgrade systems.
The first system is for the Ford Bronco and will debut at the SEMA Show starting October 31 in Las Vegas. The system will ship within 2-3 months, said Morel. Prices will fall in the approximate $4,500 to $5,000 range for the full system, which includes 6 speakers and a custom built subwoofer enclosure. It also includes a 2,300 watt DSP/amplifier that will be replacing the original A2B amplifier of the Bronco without losing any functionality, Morel said.
The system will be pre-tuned specifically for the Bronco by Morel, making it one of the only fully customized plug n play systems in the market.
Morel’s Nir Paz said, “One of the biggest obstacles [to vehicle-specific kits] is upgrading premium systems that are using advanced electronics such as A2B, MOST , Ethernet etc….. This is where our partnership with moObridge comes into play because they specialize in creating these interfaces. The collaboration with mObridge will allow us to upgrade premium systems with plug n play solutions.”
The Ford Bronco Ultimate Audio System Upgrade will be displayed at SEMA booth 11228 North Hall.
