Press Release: TEMPE, AZ–MasterTech Expo, produced by Mobile Solutions, announced the return of Chip Foose as a celebrity presenter at the show to be held March 3-6 in Mesa, AZ.
Foose, star of the Overhaulin’ TV series and award-winning vehicle designer/builder, will offer an interactive, hands-on design session.
“If you’re a car customization enthusiast, no matter what type of car you like, you’re going to love this personalized design experience. From the imagination to reality, Chip covers many of the steps and artistic best practices of design, helping to bring the customer’s dreams and your artistic concepts to reality,” said Bryan Schmitt, CEO of Mobile Solutions and the executive event director for MasterTech Expo.
The course covers illustration, graphics, model making, surfacing in easy-to-digest detail. Every person in attendance will receive a take home design book.
One lucky attendee will become Chip’s “customer for the day” and experience Chip’s personalized Vehicle Design Dream Consultation, which will be the focus of the course. They will go home with a rendering of the car of their dreams.
- Learn about Chip’s recommendations on drawing tools like pens, color, paper, back lighting, etc.
- Learn the elements of design to look at on other cars to inspire your own drawing/designs.
- Learn structured hand motion skills and best practices for free hand drawing elements.
- Learn interactive sketching, drawing and coloring tips to communicate the build.
Chip’s presentation will take place March 5, 4:30 to 6pm at the Mesa Convention Center.
MasterTech Expo is an education and networking event that combines training in car audio fabrication with other areas of expertise including interior trim, custom vehicle building and automotive design.
