Press Release (UNEDITED): TUSTIN, CA – UNAVI USA, Inc., a CarPlay retrofit provider, has launched the new GX1000 Dash Cam by FineVu as its new flagship dash cam product.

Improving on the FineVu GX300, the new GX1000 now offers 2K quality recording on both the front camera and the rear camera at 30 fps. Users can view and download their dash cam recordings on their Android or iOS smartphone when paired to the dash cam inside of the vehicle.

Additionally, the GX1000 dash cam also offers smart damage detection, powered by AI. This new feature allows for the dash cam to filter out false impact alerts and only reports on actual impacts. The AI detection maps out your car into several sections and notifies you on which section of the car the impact was detected in.

When it comes to heat protection, AI also kicks in to help keep the dash cam powered on during extreme heat via reduced power consumption. Ambient temperature is continuously checked by AI to avoid a complete power down during extreme heat.

Parking mode is still available when the dash camera is hardwired. GPS is built-in, providing speed and location information on each recording. The dash cam comes with a 32 GB micro SD card.

The FineVu app is available for free on the Google Play Store and Apple Store. Users can view and download recordings, as well as being able to adjust settings on the camera. Users can access the dash camera from their phone while they are paired to it inside of the car.

The GX1000 retails for $359, with wholesale pricing available for UNAVI dealers. UNAVI offers a 3-year warranty for the GX1000.

The GX1000 is UNAVI”s latest addition to its dash camera lineup which includes the LX2000 LCD dash camera and the UGD521 single-channel Wi-Fi dash camera.
