Audi will offer remote start via an app as a standard feature on most 2024 model lines. Until recently, Audi did not offer remote start as either standard or an option and neither hardwired or as an app.
The myAudi app now includes remote start for nearly all A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q7 and Q8 models.
Additionally Audi announced a new Audi App Store to launch this summer that will be integrated into most 2024 model lines. It will have its own proprietary apps including gaming plus leading apps such as Spotify, TikTok, Amazon Music, Yelp, Webex by Cisco and the Weather Channel.
The app store will also include Audi’s own apps for music, video, navigation, parking, charging and productivity, weather and news, as well as gaming. A subscription will be required. The app store will be available to most Audi A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q8, and e-tron GT models, with more models to follow. Additional details will be announced, Audi said.
