Sound Reserve Harley Radio

Soundstream Reserve is launching at the end of the month a new CarPlay/Android Auto motorcycle radio specifically for Harley-Davidson Street Glides, model years 1998-2013.

The new deck, model HDHU-9813SG, has a single DIN chassis that seals with a gasket and a 7-inch screen. The radio allows riders a full view of the Street Glide motorcycle gauges.  When installed, however, the screen physically blocks four indicator lights, so these are built into the radio.

Installers can unplug the indicator lights from the factory wiring and plug them into the Soundstream radio.  “They function just like the factory lights and they are on a separate circuit so if the radio goes down, those four lights will continue to work,” said Epsilon VP Sales Ronnie Brashear.

The new deck has a street price of $999.
