Rich De Sclafani, founder of the new RDVFL integration company, has been named national manufacturer’s representative for the German Maestro brand (which is distributed in North America by Rep-Corps).
De Sclafani will assist Rep-Corp with German Maestro and future Rep-Corp brands, the companies jointly announced.
De Sclafani is an industry veteran who launched RDVFL last May. The company specializes in CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces.
He said as representative for German Maestro, he is happy to return to the audio side of the market. He noted, “I have a background in audio, especially in German audio… Essentially, most of the German Maestro engineers are from the old MB Quart before it was sold.. I did a lot of work with MB Quart, and have very fond memories of the product.”
German Maestro offers $500 free freight with an average ship time of 3 days. The products carry a 3 year warranty when installed by authorized dealers.
” The German Maestro brand will be a niche, high end line for any retailer.. We will be very selective in who can carry the line to ensure not only territory protection but also no internet sales and proper representation of the products,” he added.
De Sclafani has over 25 years of experience in the car audio industry, starting his career as an installer, specializing in wiring and circuitry. He has been a retail manager and expediter manager. On the supply side, he has held posts as a test engineer, sales manager, technical support manager, and product trainer.
German Maestro said, “… our factory here in Obrigheim, Germany continues a long tradition in loudspeaker manufacturing which dates back several decades and had started with the production of the brand MB-Quart. Since that time we produce high quality Car-HiFi components, Home speakers, Headphones & Headsets and Marine speakers at our factory.”
