Mike Roberts,VP Sales & Marketing for KENWOOD for the past four years (and a veteran of KENWOOD in the 90s) has left the company effective January 9 to take a new position.
Roberts will serve as Executive VP Sales at Passtime GPS, a commercial GPS tracking company. Todd Goodnight, formerly of Pioneer and SiriusXM, is Chief Technology Officer at Passtime.

JVCKENWOOD Executive VP, Automotive Sector Dave Hoag said, “Mike Roberts, our VP of Sales, has chosen to pursue another opportunity outside of the aftermarket audio industry. We wish him the best and expect a very smooth transition as we finalize his replacement strategy. As always, our KENWOOD Reps and Regional Sales Managers are the primary points of contact and we continue to operate at full speed.”
KENWOOD is expected to announce a replacement for Roberts next week.
Roberts worked at KENWOOD in the 90’s and early 2000’s for 13 years and then moved to SiriusXM for 7 years. He also joined MiTek in 2013 as Senior Vice President and Director of Corporate Sales and Marketing for four years. Roberts returned to KENWOOD in 2018.
