Press Release: OXNARD, CA – SSV Works (, is now offering Phase EQ DSP technology for UTV audio systems.

The new Phase EQ ships with most SSV Works amplified audio kits.

“The DSP technology in our new 800-Watt Phase EQ amp with Rock & Ride™ is the same that is found in luxury cars with premium audio systems,” said Trevor Kaplan, SSV Works CEO. “The Rock & Ride switch maximizes the way your stereo sounds depending on what you’re doing…whether at camp or on the trail, you can change the pre-tuned DSP of your system with the push of a button. When you’re on either Rock or Ride, each setting comes pretuned specific to the stereo kit and vehicle it’s going in.”

Competitors only set the gains and a few other settings and call it “pretuned”, but they don’t take into account the differences in a UTV’s make and model that can affect audio output like SSV Works’ new Phase EQ solution does.

“For instance, if the amp comes in a RZR kit, the amp will be tuned down to the processing signal, differently than if it comes in a CanAm kit,” Kaplan explained. “This means no matter the ride, the audio is perfectly processed for the ultimate listening experience. Also, because of the way we process the audio, our 800-watt amplifier will outperform higher wattage amplifiers available on the market today.”

The UTV market is all about big power…and power consumption. Unlike other companies in the market, SSV Works’ audio systems are specifically designed for side-by-sides, and so you don’t need to upgrade to a dual-battery setup in order to utilize its full potential with SSV Works solutions. The SSV Works Phase EQ amplifier is also IP66-rated with complete dust and water protection, and with a higher rating than leading competitors, this is the ideal amp for your ride. There are no other systems on the market that can match its performance.

Rock & Ride: The patented switch comes with every Phase EQ amplifier. It fits in your standard rocker-switch location and allows you to switch between multiple audio profiles.

Back at camp? Hit ROCK to switch to a profile tuned for a more optimal sound from outside the vehicle. This provides the fullest sonic and most optimal sound while you’re cracking a cold one by the fire.

Ready to hit the trail? Select RIDE and the amp will process the audio to compensate for wind and engine noise, as well as boost the frequencies that would be lost from wearing your helmet, achieving the most energized listening experience in the cab while riding.

Additional features include:

  • Power: 50W x 4 @ 4ohm; 100W x 4 @ 2ohm; 400W x 1 @ 2ohm
  • 2ohm Stable Channel
  • Channel 1/2 & 3/4 Bridgeable
  • Low Current Draw (60A max)
