DOW Technologies, a leading distributor, announced the expansion of its 12 volt business.
DOW has partnered with two new vendors, KICKER and JVC as of September 1. It also expanded the territory it serves for two existing vendor partners, Sony and Alpine, effective September 1.
DOW will distribute JVC in eleven states across the South, including Florida, the Southeast and TOLA territories (Texas Oklahoma Louisiana Arkansas). The agreement covers all of JVC’s products, including exclusive distribution of the KW-M778BH model within the territory.
DOW’s agreement with KICKER covers distribution of the full line of products in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.
DOW is now the fulfillment partner for Alpine in the seven states of the Southeast, in addition to DOW’s existing Alpine coverage in Arizona, southern California and Florida.
DOW deepened its ties with Sony Car Audio, expanding coverage to include Arizona. DOW will stock and distribute the full Sony and Sony Mobile ES lines across the territory. DOW has been a partner with Sony’s 12 volt business since the early 1980s.
“We’ve had a great opportunity to expand our 12 volt offerings and create new partnerships in the industry over the past month,” said DOW’s Senior VP, Sale and Product Management, Dave Elkin. “We continue to look at ways DOW can provide more value to dealers and vendors in the industry…”
