Press Release: VAIS Technology announced the release of Push to Start with Smart Access kit, a true push to start in conjunction with the VAIS SEER.
Once professionally installed Push to Start with Smart Access gives user a proximity-based keyless entry, illuminated entry, walk-away lock, audible and visual alerts, as well as engine push to start. Just like in a brand-new vehicle, with a keytag present and brake pedal pressed, a push to start button turns green, allowing driver to start the vehicle.
Now owners can add the device to almost any classic vehicle. EVP, Dennis Hopper states “The classic car market expressed a lot of interest in push to start technology. And since we already developed a Smart Access kit SEER, adding push to start seemed like a win-win for everybody”.
Kits are available on VAIS Technology’s website at the retail price of $799.99 and come with a choice of a metal or an OEM looking push to start button. A part of the kit is an in-house designed relay module to shorten the install time.
Smart Access with PST can be fully installed straight out of the box for parking/hazard lights, headlights, interior or dome lights, audible notification and locking and unlocking upon entry and exiting the vehicle. Technology used in the kit matches to what OEMs are using to provide customers with proximity keyless systems. On top of that VAIS added high security communication and rolling code to prevent remote replay and relay attacks.
