Rockford Fosgate announced its first motorsports side-by-side kits to use RGB lighting. They include a Color Optix Controller and RF Connect App.
The sixteen new kits are designed for Polaris RZR and Can-am Maverick X3 vehicles and replace Rockford’s current RZR and Can-am kits.
Kit options begin with Stage1 or Stage2 systems that include a stereo and speakers, then work up to add RGB LED lighting and other features from Stage3 up to the all-new Stage 6 system.
Stage 6 systems include the RZR14-STG6, rated at 1500 watts of power, with RGB LED speakers and rear 8-inch horn speaker cans, subwoofer, stereo, and RGB LED controller at $4,099.99.
The X317-STG6 has the same features and adds a second subwoofer at $4,499.99.
All the new kits work with model year 2014 and newer Polaris RZR vehicles and 2017 and newer Can-am Maverick X3 vehicles.
The kits match the fit and finish of the factory vehicles. They are weather resistant and offer Bluetooth connectivity, AUX and USB inputs for access to music and smartphones.
The kits are plug and play installable with no wire cutting. A new M5 amplifier is pre-tuned for the system so no settings or adjustments are needed. The M5 amplifier is also IPX6-rated against the elements.
