Press Release (UNEDITED): STAMFORD, CT  – Today, HARMAN International Industries, Incorporated (NYSE:HAR), the premier connected technologies company for automotive, consumer and enterprise markets, launched its brand new series of JBL® Club Amplifiers. The four new high-performance models – the JBL Club A600, JBL Club A754, JBL Club A1000 and JBL Club A5055 – are all designed to deliver top-quality listening experiences  for consumers on the road.

Available in 4-channel, 5-channel and mono models, the new JBL Club Amplifiers feature variable crossovers and bass boost for precise system tuning and performance, plus high- and low-level inputs that enable them to perform with both factory and aftermarket head units.

Both the JBL Club A600 and The JBL Club A1000 mono subwoofer amplifiers use a Class D amplifier design to ensure high output and minimum current draw. The low-pass filter and variable bass boost in each of the
amplifiers also help maximize the performance of the subwoofer and enclosure, while a phase switch ensures
that the bass will blend well with your full-range speakers. With the JBL Club A754 4-channel and JBL Club
A5055 5-channel amplifiers, separate high-pass and low-pass crossovers on the front and rear channels dial in the perfect roll off to best suit speaker placement and cabin acoustics.

“Given the success we have seen with the original JBL Club Amplifiers, we are thrilled to launch this brand new lineup of fully redesigned amplifiers,” said Shawn Spedding, Director of Sales, Mobile Aftermarket at HARMAN.

“Our focus remains on creating value engineered car amplifiers with JBL power and performance, making
quality sound accessible for our customers no matter what vehicle they are driving. The latest JBL Club
Amplifiers bring JBL’s legendary sound to life by enhancing the driving experience with the best in audio,
functionality and design.”

Availability and Pricing:
The new JBL Club Amplifiers are available now and comprised of four amplifier options ranging from $269.95 – $429.95.
Features and Technical Highlights:

  • Compact size. Each of the four new JBL Club Amplifiers feature a low-profile chassis and a small
overall footprint to fit in more vehicles where available space is limited.
  • High and low level input. Speaker-level and low-level inputs allow the JBL Club Amplifiers to
integrate with both aftermarket and factory car stereo systems.
  • Variable crossover and bass boost. Unlike many amplifiers available at similar prices, the JBL Club
Amplifiers feature variable electronic crossovers and bass boost circuits allowing for precise system
    tuning and performance.
  •  Low noise and distortion. The JBL Club Amplifiers are engineered using Balanced Differential Inputs
to ensure low noise and distortion even at high output levels. This also makes them far less
susceptible to line induced radiated engine noise.
  • Input Level Control. When the low-level inputs are used, this control adjusts the input sensitivity
between 200mVrms and 2.0 Vrms. When high-level inputs are used, this control adjusts the input
    sensitivity between 2Vrms and 20Vrms.
  • Full on-board protection. On-board circuitry protects the JBL Club Amplifiers from shorts, hightemperature, overvoltage and undervoltage. An LED indicator is provided to signal when one of these
    conditions exists.
  • Phase Switch. This switch changes the input phase to inverted or non-inverted.
This is especially helpful with the subwoofer channel. (*Available for all JBL Club
    Amplifiers other than the A754).
  • RBC wired remote. Easy to install and can be mounted for convenient volume adjustment from
driver’s seat. (*Available for all JBL Club Amplifiers other than the A754).
  • Amp technology. Each of the JBL Club Amplifiers features varying Class amplifiers to ensure high
output and minimum current draw. The JBL Club A600 mono subwoofer amplifier delivers 600-Watts
RMS using a Class D amplifier design; The JBL Club A754 4-channel subwoofer amplifier delivers
400-Watts RMS using a Class H amplifier design; The JBL Club A1000 mono subwoofer amplifier
delivers 1000-Watts RMS using a Class D amplifier design; and the JBL Club A5055 5-channel
subwoofer amplifier delivers 780-Watts RMS using a Class AB+D amplifier design.
  • Turn-on mode. This switch changes DC to REM to adapt with low-level signals or high-level signals. A
selectable “Turn-on mode” can protect battery to avoid current drain.
