Alpine Names Assistant VP Aftermarket Car Audio

Ed Moriarty Joins Alpine car audio

Alpine Electronics of America has named as its new Assistant Vice President of Aftermarket Car Audio, Ed Moriarty, who comes most recently from Harman where he was VP and General Manager for branded car audio for the Americas and Asia Pacific.

Moriarty has also held posts at Bose Corp. and TA Instruments.

Mike Anderson continues as Alpine’s Vice President and General Manager for Aftermarket Car Audio, overseeing all division activity and planning.

Moriarty will support Alpine’s sales representatives and aftermarket sales activities, overseeing channel management.

“I’m thrilled to start at a company that has such a large presence in the mobile electronics industry,” said Moriarty. “I look forward to collaborating with our network of sales representatives and contributing to the support and growth of Alpine’s Authorized Retailers.”

Alpine said the new appointment is part of its commitment to the aftermarket.

Moriarty is located at Alpine’s headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI.
