VIBE Audio, the UK-based car audio brand, will now be warehoused and fulfilled in the US by Aurigin, Inc. which is owned by Scott Buwalda who also founded Hybrid Audio Technologies.
Midbass Distribution Limited, VIBE’s master distributor overseas reached an agreement with Aurigin, where Aurigin will warehouse and fulfill orders for VIBE in the US and Midbass will distribute Hybrid Audio in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and the UK.
VIBE (Vented Innovative Bass Enclosures) was founded in 1993 and claims to be the UK’s biggest 12V car audio brand. It has received many European awards including the EISA award for best speaker in 2019. VIBE is the first brand in the world to trademark the alloy spun turbo port in all of its bass enclosures, said Aurigin.
The collaboration will include Aurigin warehousing and order fulfillment of VIBE products in the US with sales and marketing coordinated with Midbass from their UK offices. Conversely, Midbass assumes responsibility for Hybrid Audio Technologies warehousing and exclusive distribution through the European Union, EMEA, and the UK.

We now will have a mechanism in place to warehouse the VIBE products and ensure timely order delivery from Aurigin’s Georgia headquarters and a satellite fulfillment and support location in Chicago, Illinois,” said Jon Knowles, Head of 12V Midbass Distribution and Director of Sales for VIBE Audio. He added, “Further, having the Hybrid Audio Technologies line-up in the EMEA fills a void in the high-end audio categories for us, and is a natural fit.”

Midbass will market overseas both VIBE and Hybrid Audio as protected lines, with a focus on the specialist “brick and mortar” retailers. In Europe, Hybrid Audio provides a high end line to complement Midbass’s VIBE Audio and EDGE Car Audio offerings.
Hybrid Audio says it has won more International Auto Sound Challenge Association (IASCA) awards than any other manufacturer in the past ten years.
