Press Release (Unedited):  Diamond Audio, an industry leader in high-end mobile audio products has announced that it will be offering an intensive 6-hour complete motorcycle product/installation workshop in conjunction with Jason Kranitz and Christopher McNulty of Kingpin University at the 2020 MEA KnowledgeFest in Long Beach, CA. This special engagement will be held on Thursday, February 6th from NOON-6:00PM at the Long Beach Convention Center in Seaside 1.

Instruction will include a complete motorcycle audio system overhaul starting with basic step-by-step teardown followed by harness and audio system installation. The fundamentals of audio, tools and facilities required for proper installation and customizing motorcycles, troubleshooting tips, deciphering noise and power issues during the installation will all be covered in this workshop. From a business and retail operations standpoint, learning to understand the differences between a typical car audio consumer compared to a motorcycle owner consumer, how to formally quote and bill a motorcycle system installation, and how to also upsell on custom labor will be touched upon. These are only a few facets of what will be covered and discussed at the “Built For Baggers” Product/Installation Workshop.

“This will be one of the most comprehensive educational workshops that I have ever been associated with and I’ve done many throughout my career. Whether you are new to the game or an experienced veteran that wants to recharge the batteries and possibly learn and experience a few new things, this is where you want to be! Diamond Audio is putting the swagger into the bagger community with motorcycle specific products and that has elevated everyone’s game so don’t get left out and make the effort to attend “Built For Baggers”!, states Larry Frederick, Director of New Product Development/Training for Diamond Audio.

Adds Jason Kranitz of Kingpin University, “It’s a very exciting time in our industry right now. As traditional revenue streams shrink, retailers need to think outside the box and try to figure out and find other replacement business opportunities. The motorcycle category is an easy transition for retailers to jump into since there are many parallels to the mobile audio category pertaining to the fundamental processes and procedures. At Kingpin University, we always stress the importance of the “8-legged revenue stool” principle for retailers. If one leg becomes weak, the other legs or revenue streams are still there to keep the retailer’s financial stool strong and healthy. The motorcycle category could represent one of those legs for retailers. We are excited to be a part of this educational workshop and look forward to seeing all of our industry counterparts at KnowledgeFest”!

The “Built For Baggers” Product/Installation Workshop will be open for all attendees of KnowledgeFest Long Beach. To reserve your place for this special engagement, please go here and register online: www.mwi.re/kfdiamond
