AudioControl (audiocontrol.com) will introduce at CES 2020 this week, its first motorsports/motorcycle amplifiers.
The new ACX series is IP6 rated for water resistance and is compact in size. It uses conformal coatings, insulated gaskets and loose-mating waterproof connectors to withstand weather conditions.
The line includes two models: a mono (ACX-300.1) that delivers 300 Watts @ 2 Ohms or 175 Watts @ 4 Ohms, and a 4/3/2-channel (ACX-300.4) capable of 4×75 Watts @ 2 Ohms or 4×50 Watts @ 4 Ohms and a powerful 2×150 Watts @ 4 Ohms bridged.
Each amplifier has a selectable low/hi input stage with independent gain controls. The ACX-300.1 features AudioControl’s patented AccuBASS® circuitry along with a low-pass/bypass 12dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley crossover. The ACX-300.4 has a hi-pass/bypass Linkwitz-Riley crossover.
Both models use AudioControl’s GTO signal sensing circuitry.
The ACX-300.1 has a MAP price of $279. The ACX-300.4 has a MAP price of $329. Shipping is expected Q1.
AudioControl is displaying at CES at the Las Vegas Convention Center, January 7-10, North Hall, booth 3921.
