Rockford Fosgate announced a new PMX-1 Digital Media Receiver for marine, powersports and motorcycle use.  It allows Bluetooth streaming from a smartphone and works with an RF Connect mobile app to be available soon.

The new PMX-1 can also work with the vehicle’s steering wheel controls using the Rockford PMX-BTUR.

The PMX-1 includes an AM/FM Radio with a weather band tuner and a built-in 2-ohm stable amplifier that can power up to eight 4-ohm speakers.  Users can add external amplifiers using the 4-channel pre-amp outputs.  Users may also tune their system using the selectable crossovers and 7-band graphic equalizer.

The 2.3-inch dot matrix LCD display is optically bonded to the 9H tempered glass screen for durability. It allows users to adjust brightness and contrast so it can be viewed even in harsh sunlight.

The PMX-1 has a suggested retail price of $219.99.
