Press Release (Edited): Massive Audio is releasing a megawatt subwoofer amplifier, the DP24K.
The all digital monoblock amplifier offers ultra high-speed switching, with a true power output of 24,192 watts RAM @ 1 ohm @ 18 volts. Current drawn at 1 ohm impedance is 1,550 Amps / 14.4 VDC.
The amplifier measures 2.98” x 10.86” x 24.09” with twin exhaust fans to cool its output. It includes a red LED that illuminates when 85 percent of the amplifier’s capacity limit is reached. Adjustable Hi Pass and Low Pass crossovers along with a parametric equalizer with a variable 0-12dB bass boost allow for full control.
