VOXX will ship at the end of February 2019 its first security products for powersports vehicles.

They include a waterproof security system and a waterproof GPS tracking and recovery system.

The products, on view at CES in Las Vegas next week, were designed and developed specifically for motorcycles, ATV’s, boats, and snowmobiles open to extreme conditions.

The APS PS1 Prestige powersports alarm is triggered if someone tries to tow or tamper with the motorcycle or powersports vehicle. It also has a closed loop trigger to protect saddlebags or helmets.  A wire can be wrapped around the saddlebags, for example, and if that loop is broken, it triggers the alarm.   The APS PS1 also includes a digital tilt and shock sensor and a starter disable.  It is IP65 waterproof and comes with two micro 2-button waterproof remotes.

It is joined by a PSS VR1 GPS recovery system for powersports vehicles. If the vehicle is moved, hit or tampered with, the user receives an alert on his smartphone and may track the vehicle on his phone.  The device is compact and IP67 waterproof. It has an output for starter interrupt, speed and Geofence alerts.  VOXX will include one year of free service with the PSS VR1.

Suggested retail prices are $299.99 for the GPS recovery system and $199.99 for the security system.
