Press Release:  GCH Automotive announced new OEM radio navigation upgrade kits that take a different tack on the traditional aftermarket solution for replacing the original radio.

GCH allows users to keep the features they want in their existing radio, but add navigation that may be controlled by the factory screen.

“We live by the statement, ‘If it ain’t broke, why replace it?’” said GCH’s Greg Delgado.  “Why should you have to remove factory features such as Bluetooth, iPod or satellite radio just to put them back so you can add navigation?”

Additionally, this method reduces the amount of time required to teach clients how to use a new radio.

The navigation add-ons are vehicle specific, so they forgo the expense of extra hardware such as steering wheel control adapters, and dash kits with climate controls or radio data.

GCH is releasing two navigation kits for the 2018 Toyota Camry and 2018 GM trucks.

 2018 TOYOTA CAMRY

The navigation kit for the most popular selling car in the Toyota lineup, provides a direct connection solution that includes a radio chassis and matched housing for seamless bolt-in installation. The system adds a self-reliant navigation module that is viewed on the car’s touch screen and fully operated by touch screen controls.

2018 GM SIERRA/SILVERADO/TERRAIN/EQUINOX IOB 7” RADIO EQUIPPED VEHICLES

A first plug and play navigation upgrade add-on for select 2018 GM vehicles.   The system provides more than 12 million points of interest, multiple camera inputs and a 3-year warranty.

With built-in navigation, there’s no need to rely on your phone for directions, so there’s no slowing down of your phone operation while navigation is in use, said GCH.

The company offers navigation solutions for Honda, Toyota, GM, Ford, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Subaru and more.
