For Those Who Sell LED Light Bars

A new LED light bar cover solves the “hissing” problem that many larger light bars are subject to when mounted on windshields.

AeroLidz light bar covers are aerodynamic and remain on the light bar even while the vehicle is in use.  They effectively silence the wind noise created as air passes through the fins that typically run along the back of the light bar.

When the air blows through the fins, it creates a harmonic sound, especially when the lights are mounted to the windshield, which is a popular placement.  The effect can sound like a train whistle, said AeroLidz inventor and founder, Gabe Warner.

So, he created AeroX Industries in February of last year. The company has been selling informally at car shows and on the web, and is presently entering retail stores.  It is setting up distribution and looking for manufacturer reps.

The covers fit all 50” and 52” light bars.  They are transparent, available in clear and smoked polycarbonate, with a broad selection of inserts to personalize the covers.  An insert might show an American flag, bald eagle or popular phrases used by off-roaders.

AeroLidz will soon allow custom inserts that may be ordered via www.aerolidz.com, where consumers can upload their own designs.

The AeroLidz covers open up like clam shells while the shape of the polycarbonate maintains a naturally strong grip on the top and bottom of the LED light bars.

Aerolidz is located in St. Louis. MO and its products are made in the US.  It will be exhibiting at the SEMA Show, booth# 52114, later this month in Las Vegas.
