Press Release (edited): Memphis is introducing new marine speakers and subwoofers.
New tower speakers include a compression horn tweeter and mid-bass driver designed to deliver loud, accurate music that can travel over great distances.

New 6.5” and 8” marine tower speakers include a new 6-spoke grille with integrated RGB LED lighting. Both sizes are equipped with an EZ Swivel 360-degree mount and may be placed on any bars with a diameter ranging from 1.75”-3”. The swivel mounts are made of corrosion resistant aluminum with a treated finish to prevent wear and tear from the elements.

The speakers themselves are IP66 certified and are UV, element and water resistant. The 6.5” tower speakers are capable of handling 100w/200w while the larger 8” speakers handle 150w/300w. Both speakers are available in white (MXA62TW/MXA82TW) or gunmetal gray (MXA62TG/MXA82TG) to match any application.

The MXA62TW/TG will retail for $649.95 per pair and the MXA82TW/TG will retail for $989.95 per pair. Shipping is expected soon.

Currently shipping is a new MXA subwoofer in 10″ and 12″ sizes that are IP66 certified. They were designed for sealed enclosures typically encountered in boat installations, but they will easily adapt to vented or Free Air applications. MXA subwoofers feature gold plated terminals, polypropylene UV resistant cones, stainless steel hardware and high impact resistant grills.

Optional white (MXA10GW/MXA12GW) and black grills (MXA10B/MXA12B) are available. MSRP is $189.95 for the 10” and $229.95 for a 12” model.

A new MXA62TB coaxial tower speaker (75w/150w) is a 6.5” model with a PEI dome tweeter and “powerful” midbass driver.

“By adding the PEI dome tweeter and making some other minor adjustments we were able to create a more musical tower speaker at a very affordable price…” said Nick LoMonaco VP of Memphis Audio.

MXA60TB speakers are available now in black satin finish for a retail price point of $439.95 per pair.
