The 12 members of the Elite Distributor Alliance (EDA) are launching their own woofer enclosure line called SPL Boxes.

Most of the 200 woofer boxes, designed for vehicle specific and universal applications, will be built in the US.  EDA claims they will offer upgraded connectors and premium materials at attractive prices.  Shipping is expected in May.

Now three years old, EDA, the first 12 volt buying group, has grown to where it can use its marketing power to sell its own product line.

“EDA services over 7,000 customers across forty-eight states – by harnessing this buying power, we are able to achieve quality and value unheard of in this category,” said Jim Warren, EDA’s Executive Director.

SPL Box pricing will be announced and catalogs will be available on distributor-member websites.

EDA chose to sell their own woofer enclosures because the market lacked a quality brand that was low in price with good distribution turn around, said Warren.

“Our customers simply weren’t satisfied with much of the enclosure product in the market.  Either it was poorly made, too expensive, or simply not available fast enough to meet their needs,” said Sam Taliani, one of the principals  at Davis Distributing, an EDA member.

EDA will be able to fill SPL Box orders “as frequently as weekly,” said Warren.

BrandmotionAdditionally, EDA announced a new vendor partner, Brandmotion,  EDA members will carry the full line of Brandmotion products including driver safety products.

EDA is owned by its member distributors. You can see a listing of distributor members at www.elitedistributoralliance.com
