Holly Hill, FL – Axxess® will introduce two new all-in-one AX-DSP Packages at this year’s CES, designed to retain the OE functionality for digitally amplified systems. Packages include the patent-pending Digital Signal Processor (AX-DSP) by Axxess, a vehicle-specific T-harness and amplifier bypass harness.
For Hyundai/Kia 2010 and up* vehicles with SPDIF digitally amplified systems, the AX-DSP-HYKIA2 will retain the ability to work with the SPDIF digitally amplified system, and includes the AX-DSP and a plug-n-play harness.
For GM 2014 and up* vehicles with MOST50 digitally amplified systems, the AX-DSP-MOST1 will retain the ability to work with the MOST50 digitally amplified system, and includes the AX-DSP and a plug-n-play harness. It will retain features like text message reading, navigation prompts and OnStar®.
For both of the AX-DSP Packages, the amplifier does not need to be retained and installation of the AX-DSP must be done at the amplifier location.
AX-DSP Plug-N-Play T-Harnesses
Axxess is doubling their current line of AX-DSP Plug-N-Play T-Harnesses, by introducing nine new solutions at CES for select Chrysler, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Mazda, and Toyota applications. These vehicle-specific T-harnesses will significantly reduce the AX-DSP installation time for installers.

The AX-DSP Fills a Gap in the Market
The AX-DSP is a cost effective solution for customers who want to retain their factory radio and improve their vehicle sound quality, while still retaining systems like SYNC® or OnStar®. This digital signal processor sets itself apart with on-board digital amplifier turn-on capability, chime retention with volume control, and fully adjustable 31 band graphic EQ with time delay. All features and adjustments are controlled via Bluetooth® to the Axxess smartphone application, available for iOS and Android devices. The AX-DSP, which began shipping in the summer of 2017, already works with a wide range of vehicle applications, including non-amplified vehicles that do not have chimes. Now, with the addition of these nine new T-harnesses, the AX-DSP can be installed into a wide range of vehicles, even faster than before. AX-DSP Demonstrations at CES
Two AX-DSP demonstrations will be offered each day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11am and 2pm at Metra’s CES booth #5211 in the North Hall, 1/9 to 1/11. Attendees will see a live demo of the AX-DSP in a digitally amplified system and learn how installation using the AX-DSP compares to traditional DSP installation, saving the installer both time and money.
