Each kit has been designed to safely and seamlessly integrate into the vehicle’s pre-existing activated reverse camera port retaining full functionality of the original camera and stop light while allowing the option of choosing the original reverse camera or a newly fitted cargo view camera displaying on your existing factory LCD display.
This is a perfect solution for those clients looking to make hitching up to a 5th wheel trailer a snap. As we all know, most 5th wheel conversion hitches either require the complete removal of your factory tailgate (which houses your original reverse camera) or requires you to leave the tailgate in the down position rendering your factory camera useless.
Each kit has the option of being completely integrated into the original OEM display or to the aftermarket rear view LCD mirror, LCD based head unit or dash mounted LCD.
The Cabin High-Mount Stop Light (CHMSL) camera solutions use a 360 degree adjustable camera with over 500 lines of resolution, 150-degree wide angle view with CMD HD video chip.
An OE integrated video switcher can switch between both factory reverse and a newly added cargo camera and can be used as a stand-alone option and/or display image shown on factory screen.
