JL Audio is adding new models to its vehicle-specific Stealthbox line of subwoofers. During CES, it announced two new designs for the Chevrolet Camaro and new models for Honda Pioneer and Polaris RZR UTVs.
Stealthboxes are made of fiberglass and precision fit to spaces available in various vehicles. They use laser-scanning technology for precise measurements and then use modeling software to design subwoofer solutions to determine the best fit and maximum enclosure volume, for optimal bass handling.
New models are as follows:
SB-GM-CAM6G/12TW3: fits Chevrolet Camaro Coupe, 2016 & Up
Contains one 12TW3-D4 subwoofer in a sealed enclosure. 400 watts (RMS) power handling. Wired for 2 ohm mono. Black steel mesh woofer grille is included. Installs in driver-side corner of trunk compartment.
SB-GM-CAM6G/12W6v3: Same as above, but with one 12W6v3-D4 subwoofer in a sealed enclosure. 600 watts (RMS) power handling.
New Powersports Stealthbox® Models
SB-H-PIO7/10TW3: fits Honda Pioneer 700, 2015 & Up
Contains one 10TW3-D4 subwoofer in a sealed enclosure. 400 watts (RMS) power handling. Wired for 2 ohm mono. Black steel mesh woofer grille is included. Installs beneath the driver’s seat.
SB-POL-RZG2R/10TW3:
fits Polaris RZR XP 1000 / RZR XP 4 1000 / RZR 900 XC / RZR 4 900, 2014 & Up
Contains one 10TW3-D4 subwoofer in a sealed enclosure. 400 watts (RMS) power handling. Wired for 2 ohm mono. Black steel mesh woofer grille is included. Installs behind rear lower panel on passenger side.
