Concept Enterprises said it has been awarded U.S. Patent 9,432,716 for wireless screencasting, which is used in many of its Chameleon car audio/video products including its new Big Screen Factory Fit Multimedia System.
The patent covers multimedia screencasting and communications between a vehicle headrest or ceiling-mounted LCD video system, and a smartphone or other portable multimedia device. This may include an iPad or smartphone that is projecting video to to flipdown or headrest monitor.
