Boyo (Vision Tech America) will ship later this month a new rear view replacement mirror/monitor with an embedded 5-inch monitor and built in DVR (digital video recorder) plus free car tracking.
The new CarKuda VTG500X has WiFi capability when used with a hot spot. So you get live tracking on your smartphone with an app (provided there is a hotspot in the car). You can track your teen driver or connect to a hotspot later and see where the car has been via your smartphone.
The mirror also has built in navigation. And it and it runs on the Android OS so users can also download navigation apps like Waze from the Google Play store.
The mirror uses a capacitive touch screen and it comes with an exteral microSD card for storing recorded footage at a retail price of $299.
