CRUX Interfacing Solutions announced the release of the VIMMB-85P video-in-motion programmer that works with an OBD2 module.
It is available for the 2017 Mercedes Benz E-Class with the new Comand NTG5.5 Infotainment System with 12.3-inch monitor.
The kit include plug and play installation via the OBD2 port with an initial 30 second coding procedure. There’s no need to remove the factory radio and the kit retain its navigation system.
The kit allows onscreen access to the factory Bluetooth keypad at anytime and allows for navigation address input at any time.
“We are leaving behind the old and antiquated can bus filtering technology to usher in this new era of easy and profitable OBD programming interfaces,” said CRUX’s Rich DeSclafani.
The kit will be on display at CES in Las Vegas, January 5-8 at booth #7709 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
