PAC will conduct an install challenge at KnowledgeFest in Dallas this week.

Installers may win prizes for the ControlPRO Install Challenge including tablets, fitness watches, digital multi-meters and more.

The contest will be held at the PAC booth during KnowledgeFest to show how fast the new PAC steering wheel interface SWI-CP2 can be programmed.

The challenge is part of PAC’s celebration of its 40th anniversary.

PAC will also conduct a product training session on Sunday, August 21 in room Cortez B where retailers may learn about the latest products to save time on installation.

Regarding PAC’s 40th anniversary, it said, “For the last four decades, PAC has been providing advanced car tech integration products to the 12 Volt industry with numerous first to market solutions including the first line output converter, first universal steering wheel control interface, first multi-programmable trigger device, first back-up camera interface, and more.  PAC, then known as Pacific Accessory Corporation, was established in 1976 by John Patterson who saw a market for a better antenna solution for CB radios…” according to Nathan Wincek of AAMP Global.

PAC today is an AAMP Global company that produces ControlPRO steering wheel control modules, RadioPRO radio replacement interfaces, and integrated-safety camera interfaces (BCIs).
