Al & Ed’s Autosound, a franchise chain in Southern CA, opened a new location in Long Beach, CA last week, bringing its total store count to 14 locations.
The new store was formerly the LB Audio Shop.
“I had what I would call a successful operation in LB Audio Shop” said Efrin Gonzalez, owner. “Once the Al & Ed’s switch was turned on, I saw an immediate lift in business. The two days after I was live on the website’s store locator, I had six customers who came in specifically from our website. In addition, I have full access to brands I couldn’t get before…”
A Grand Opening was held Saturday, August 6 that included demo cars from Alpine and Rockford Fosgate. Local morning radio host Romeo and the Goodfellas set up a a live remote from the event, and TV personality Anthony Campos was available. Many show cars from other Al & Ed’s Autosound locations were also on site.
Al & Ed’s is a franchise-based car stereo chain. Stores are independently owned and operated, but function under a turn-key infrastructure that is supported by advertising and brand marketing.
Al & Ed’s John Haynes said the franchising model “allows our owners to focus on what they do best…sell and install.”
