Metra Electronics announced a new car radio replacement kit for the 2013 and up Chevy Equinox and the GMC Terrain.
The new 99-3308G kit is the follow-up to the 99-3307 kit, which worked only in vehicles with a factory monochrome screen. The new 99-3308G allows radio replacement yet retains the factory color screen so the factory climate control and driver customization menus are accessible.
The new dash kit works with single- or double DIN aftermarket radios.
The kit includes an AXXESS interface and harness. Installers may also use an optional antenna adapter, part number 40EU55.
