D’Amore Engineering announced it has received a patent for its DD-1 tool used to find audio devices that produce a distorted signal.
The patent, number 9,313,596 is owned by both D’Amore and SMD (Steve Meade Designs), who jointly designed and developed the tool.
D’Amore said it has sold 8,000 units of the DD-1 since D’Amore started in 2011.
The DD-1 is also used to set up the maximum volume and gain controls of head units, processors, and amplifiers.
