GROM has added Spotify, Internet Radio and Google Music to its DashLinQ Android super app for its USB and Bluetooth integration products.
DashLinQ is “GROM’s version of Android Auto” as it optimizes certain Android apps for use in the car, with larger on screen buttons, when you connect your phone to a GROM add-on device for the car. And it also allows these apps to work with the hard buttons on the radio.
With the new update to DashLinQ, Spotify users get an easier to use interface for the car. Users can also access Internet Radio, browse and set favorite stations as well as record music. And they get easy to use access to Google Music.
DashLinQ, first introduced in November last year also provides Google Voice control over phone calls and navigation.
Among the GROM Bluetooth Kits that DashLinQ works are the GROM-BT3: Bluetooth Hands Free and Audio Car Kit and the GROM-USB3: Android USB Bluetooth Car Integration Kit. The kits add Bluetooth to a factory radio that lacks it.
DashLinQ is a free app for Android users and may be downloaded from Google Play and other app store websites.
