Massive Audio will ship in the second quarter 2016 its water-resistant Nano BLU amplifiers that work with a Bluetooth dongle to stream music.
The digital amplifiers include docking ports and are 30 percent smaller than Massive’s current Nano BIT series.
They also support an optional Rail Cap, 4 farad capacitor, designed for a plug and play fit, so it cosmetically matches the amplifier.
Models BLX2 and BLX4 (2- and 4-channel amplifiers) work with an optional Bluetooth dongle (UBT1) for wireless audio streaming from a smartphone. Both are designed with a line out to connect the BLX1 mono amplifier or any other amplifier, allowing the third amp to support audio streaming.
The Nano BLU series amps can be mounted into small spaces as they measure about 4 inches wide, 1 inch tall and either 7 or 9 inches long. All circuit boards are sprayed for water resistance.
The amplifiers will be displayed at the CES Show January 6-8 in the North Hall booth #3006 of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
They include 12v auto turn on and will carry a suggested retail price of $399.98 each.
