A new Bluetooth device from Blitzsafe adds Bluetooth 3.0 to your car stereo and delivers superior audio, says Blitzsafe.
The Blue G2 is a small box that can plug into the cigarette lighter to offer handsfree calling and audio streaming from your phone. It has two inputs so you can switch between a phone and a second device for Bluetooth audio streaming. There’s also pass through USB charging for another device (with a cable).
The G2 can also work with a Blitzsafe interface so it can link to steering wheel controls.
It has an on board and an external microphone. You can push to answer a call or to return to the last app you were listening to, such as Pandora.
The device can also be used with a home stereo system.
Blitzsafe makes the product in the US and does not use the standard off shore audio parts found in most Bluetooth adapters, so it delivers superior, clear audio, it said.
The G2 ships in December for under $100.
