Race Sport, maker of automotive lighting, announced its first light bar packages for specific trucks.
The kits include a 50-54-inch light bar plus brackets, a plug and play wiring harness, and anti-theft bolts. A cover is also included as some states require a cover or sleeve for the light bar when not in use.
“Too many end users get themselves head deep in mud when buying a light bar and find out they need additional components at install,” said Race Sport President Steve Jergensen. The problem extends to the dealer who must scramble for accessories to complete the install, he said.
The kits are available for late model Chevrolet, Ford, Nissan and Toyota trucks. Race Sport is also working on a kit for Dodge trucks.
The light bars use a black bowl and lens instead of the typical chrome for a total “blacked out” look. Suggested retail price on the kits is approximately $975.
