The top European car audio car decks of the year, selected by EISA, the European Imaging and Sound Association, went to Kenwood for its DNX7150DAB, and to Alpine, under the “In-Car Premium Upgrade” for its X701D-A.
The Alpine X701D-A is designed to integrate specifically with the Audi A4, A5 and Q5. It was praised for introducing “an entirely new concept by replacing all discrete components located in the dashboard with its 7-inch WVGA screen, control unit and black box.” It integrates “perfectly with the dashboard and the Audi onboard systems,” said EISA.
EISA called the Kenwood deck “the most complete” head unit in Europe with its navigation for all of Europe, HDMI, FLAC playback, digital radio, Bluetooth streaming and more.
