Award winning 12 volt retailer Mitch Schaffer and 12 volt Rep Jon Dewar have formed an alliance to offer car stereo dealers a one-stop digital marketing shop.

Schaffer, who owns the Mobile Edge retail store in PA, provides web site creation and maintenance for car stereo dealers, through his new company 1Sixty8 Media, launched last year.

Now those services will be combined with SEO and social media strategies by joining forces with Dewar owns Modern Media Geeks.

“Our teams have over 125 combined years of experience as 12V retailers, installers, reps and industry writers,” Schaffer said. “We understand the 12V business as well as anyone so our clients can let us handle their online marketing and focus on doing what they do best: running their businesses.”

Retailers who work with the team receive the following services:

  • Highly customized and optimized, client specific websites that are mobile responsive and lightning fast
  • Best in class content written by household names in the mobile enhancement industry
  • Social media campaigns managed and administered by a 25+ year industry veteran
  • Laser focused local SEO programs that drive traffic on desktop and mobile devices
  • The confidence of knowing that your marketing team speaks your language and understands your business.

Schaffer said, “Our ideas on how to improve the marketing efforts of mobile enhancement retailers are so in sync, it was uncanny! Our visions for our companies and for our clients are very closely aligned and the services that we offer complement one another perfectly.”

Schaffer has owned Mobile Edge, a 12V retailer in PA for 21 years. Other members of the 1sixty8 media team include 12V store owners, high end installers, industry writers and website developers. 1sixty8 media streamlines the process of managing and nurturing a website so that clients can spend their time on other aspects of their business.

Dewar’s Modern Media Geeks helps retailers to increase organic search engine results by creating and correcting listings in local search engine directories. It updates information twice a day to the relevant directories and mobile maps. The team then develops and manages your store’s social media image. We reported on Dewar here. He is also providing digital marketing coaching to 6 retailers in a CEoutlook Challenge currently underway.
