Almost 60 percent of drivers use apps in the car and 37 percent consider using apps in the car a “must have” feature, according to a new study by Strategy Analytics.
Also demand for a CD player in the car is “falling off rapidly,” said the new report. However 79 percent still use the CD player.
Almost 80 percent still consider radio a must have feature, despite the shift to smartphone use in the car.
Other findings of the study, reported by Inside Radio, said that 76 percent listen to Internet Radio in the car.
