Alpine X009-GM2

Alpine Electronics is expanding its vehicle-specific line of truck radios with the X009-GM2 that fits 2007-2013 GM trucks with upper dash mounted factory radios.

The X009-GM2 is based on the X009, the first 9-inch car navigation/radio. It comes with a vehicle-specific dash kit and back-lit hard keys that cosmetically match the factory dash. All harnesses and data modules for a plug and play installation are included.

“The first X009 system we launched last year was for select GM trucks and SUVs but with the addition of the X009-GM2, we now cover the majority of the 2007-2013 GM trucks on the road,” said Steve Crawford, Alpine VP and General Manager, Aftermarket Business Unit.

The X009-GM2 is compatible with the 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado/2500HD/3500HD and GMC Sierra/2500HD/3500HD models that have the factory radio mounted in the upper dash.  Features include HD Radio, Pandora control and SiriusXM compatibility.  The navigation deck has an HDMI input, Bluetooth and works with Alpine’s TuneIt app for sound tuning and Facebook alerts.

An  iDatalink Maestro module is included with the X009 that can show vehicle information (battery voltage display, check engine codes, etc).  The module also retains factory features such as steering wheel controls and premium audio amplifier integration.

Other X009 radios now available are the: X009-RAM, for select 2013-up Ram trucks; X009-TND, for 2007-2013 Toyota Tundra trucks; X009-FD1, for select Ford F-150 trucks with the base radio system; X009-GM, for lower dash radio styles on select 2007-2013 GM trucks and 2007-2014 GM SUVs; and the X009U, for custom installations.  Coming soon are models for select 2013-2014 Ford F-150 trucks with MyFord 4.2-inch screen (X009-FD2) and 2011-up Jeep Wrangler (X009-WRA).  The 2014-2015 lineup of X009 Alpine Restyle dash systems for trucks and SUV will be compatible with over eight million vehicles available from the applicable makes, models and years.
