VOXX Electronics has partnered with Toon Goggles, the top video-on-demand service for kids, to deliver their video services pre-installed on the Audiovox/Advent Android based custom headrest systems.
Toon Goggles is a kid-safe service that lets children be in charge of their viewing with an on-demand selection of shows, games and music that are age appropriate.
The on-demand service will be available on VOXX 8-inch Android headrest systems using tablet technology in a backseat DVD based system. The headrests have bluetooth and built-in WiFi connections that allows Internet access when combined with a 3G or 4G mobile hotspot or WiFi hotspot. The tablet/DVD headrest systems also use HDMI/MHL inputs with charging support to display video from smartphones and tablets. The screens have a resolution of 800 x RGB x 480 with capacitive touch control. The Audiovox/Advent Android based custom headrest systems will be available early March.
