Hertz (Elettromedia) will ship its Mille.3 Legend next-generation subwoofers this month including a new unique 7 inch model and a new compact 8 inch model.
The 7 inch woofer ML 1800.3 can be used in a number of applications where a normal 6.5 inch mid/woofer is too small or where there is a need for better bass response in the front stage.
The new 8 inch model ML 2000.3 is slimmer than than previously, now at 4.6 inches depth, but with “powerful output and performance,” says Hertz. It has a 4 inch voice coil that features a new winding process called “in/out.” The advantage is that it provides the ability to obtain an even cooling of the coil levels. It handles 700watts RMS and 1400W peak power.
