PowerBass USA announced it will enter the wakeboard audio market at the CES Show in January.  It will display two wake pod models for the marine audio market using compression horn drivers.

The L-POD65 and XL-POD8 use 6.5-inch and 8-inch coaxial speakers use polymer pods that are salt/fog- and UV-tested.  They come with solid aluminum mounting brackets to withstand the elements and rubber inserts.

PowerBass will also show at CES a downfiring subwoofer.  The single 10-inch woofer is housed in a low resonant cabinet that mounts face down to deliver extra bass in small places.
