DD Audio announced the release of its 800 Series of Redline subwoofer designed to handle extended periods of high volume bass.
The 800 Series motor is based on a USA-built 4-inch high temp, flatwound aluminum voice coil. The motor features a 325 oz triple stack magnet, backplate venting, basket venting and outer shorting ring/heat sink for heat dissipation.
The suspension uses two DD Audio innovations: an EROM surround coupled with an exclusive 9 layer composite spider system. This style of suspension gives precise coil movement and long term durability under heavy use.
