DD Audio has added a composite fabrication division at its Oklahoma facility to supply composite speaker parts including cones and dust caps.
The fabrication room allows DD Audio to keep costs competitive while offering high quality customized parts, it said.
It is staffed with a specialized team skilled in the manufacturing techniques for composite assemblies.
“For this process we only use materials that meet our stringent specifications, and we hand-lay all of our parts using the utmost attention to detail and craftsmanship. Through the use of carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass, and other composite materials we are able to produce an array of ultra high quality parts…” said DD Audio.
