Kenwood Ships More of 2015 Line Early

After shipping early its Excelon 2015 receivers, Kenwood announced Wednesday it will also ship about 7 standard Kenwood receivers for 2015 in November and December of this year to get a jump on the holiday season.

The full line now includes Android music playback, so users can connect to the radio’s USB port to control music on their phone.  Also the fouir new models with Bluetooth will also provide automatic pairing with Apple phones.

Also new for 2015 is the steering wheel control interface available on models starting with the KDC-122U line and up. And DVD receivers including rear view camera input and steering remote input.

 

The 2015 Kenwood DVD multimedia receivers available in November are:

 

DDX372BT ($530.00 suggested retail price) Built-in Bluetooth with HF and A2DP technology, USB input with iPod and iPhone control and voice control using Siri, Pandora Internet Radio control for both iPhone and Android and is SiriusXM-Ready (SXV300 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner sold separately, subscription required) with three 4-volt preouts with 5-band equalizer and a 6.2 inch VGA touchscreen allowing for a better listening and viewing experience.  Safety features on the receiver include Rear View Camera Integration and Steering Remote Input technology integration.

 

DDX272 ($480.00 suggested retail price) offers USB input with iPod and iPhone control and voice control using Siri, Pandora Internet Radio control for both iPhone and is SiriusXM-Ready™ (SXV300 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner sold separately, subscription required) with three 4-volt preouts with 5-band equalizer and a 6.2 inch VGA touchscreen allowing for a better listening and viewing experience.  Safety features on the receiver include Rear View Camera Integration and Steering Remote Input technology integration.

KDC-BT362U ($160.00 suggested retail price) offers built-in Bluetooth, Android music via USB, voice control using Siri, a 1.5 variable color LCD display and three 2.5-volt preouts with 3-band equalizer, and is iHeartRadio, Pandora Internet Radio for iPhone and Android ready.

 

KDC-162U ($110.00 suggested retail price) offers Android music via USB, voice control using Siri, front USB and auxiliary inputs, one rear/subwoofer RCA preout 2.5 volt, with 3-band equalizer, Drive EQ, steering wheel control capabilities, and is iHeartRadio, Pandora Internet Radio for iPhone and Android ready.

 

KDC-122U ($110.00 suggested retail price) offers Android music via USB, front USB and auxiliary inputs, one rear/subwoofer RCA preout 2.5 volt, with 3-band equalizer, Drive EQ, steering wheel control capabilities.
