Alpine said its OEM sales were stronger than expected so it revised its sales forecast upward by 3 percent for the first six months of its fiscal year.
It expects to bring in $1.29 billion (140,000 million yen) , up from $1.26 billion (136,000 million yen) based on improved OEM orders in Europe and Japan.
In addition, profits and operating income are also projected to be better than expected.
The forecast is for the period from April 1 to September 30, 2014.
